I'm not liking some of these first albums and singles they seem a little too cool for my liking. i think some people may shying away from their sordid musical past by evading the sheer musical horror that is their first musical purchase
Can we all be honest please!

No stick from me James... I have a fascination for Bubblegum:D
...really!.
...an interesting fact is that the moustachioed lead singer from BOM is in fact one Tony Burrows who is responsible for many other acts from the era such as Edisons Lighthouse, White Plains and the Pipkins.
He is the only person to appear on Top of the Pops three times in the same show with three different acts....
...he is also the voice on Beach Baby by first class...
...bet ya didn't know that!:D

First single was Get It On by T Rex bought from Keighley market years before I owned a record player.
First album was some pre-Now that's what I call music rhubarb featuring tracks by Chicory Tip, T Rex, Joe Cocker, Billy Preston and The Carpenters etc etc.
One track I remember vividly was an instrumental called or about 'Popcorn'. But I'll be fecked if I can remember owt else. Maybe you remember or know the tune? Here it is...
Der da da da da da da der, der da da da da da der, der da da da da da da da der da da da da da da der...
Hold on, 'Hot Butter' rings a bell. Any advance on 'Hot Butter'???
