Looking forward tom this Mildly, i atched the original a few times and i have to say it is one of the best films i have seen.
Shame that the new one will be without the scots accenttdwn:

The original is a classic British Horror flick, and the book is scary too. Who's in the remake, is it an American production?

Nicholas Cage which is really gonna take the horror away, the scottish accent was all what the original was about!

I have the original Wicker Man on DVD, and it's one of my favourite horror movies, although it doesn't really fit neatly in to the horror genre.
All the comments I've read would suggest that the re-make sucks.

Its not scottish so its gunna be less scary!
Gotta remember at the time it was made it was very controversial! Due to it being illegal to have another faith and believe in another god etc

I fondly remember seeing the original despite my not being a fan of the horror genre. i cannot however, help thinking about Britt Ekland (i always remember films with tits in ;))
rest assured i will not be watching this remake bastardisation of a British classic. i think the originals are always better.
here's a good one, can anyone think of remakes that have been better than the originals or films with tits in that you wouldn't expect. i'll start you off with logan's run. i remember watching this on BBC2 at about 1:00 in the afternoon but they failed to omit the tit scene. you can always rely on a Jenny Agutter film for a bit of tit action. as for remakes i'm at a loss.

Ben Hur comes to mind with Charlton Heston. There was one before it :D Way before my time. But apart from that nothing comes to mind.

You get a quick flash of Glenn Close's burger in Fatal Attraction.jawdrop:

that's not a bad one actually, i wouldn't have thought of that. I'll store that one away in my mental database.
on reflection, any late 80's to mid 90's hollywood film had a good flash of flesh in so it's not that good after all.
must try harder KK!
