The ref didn't ruin a gamejawdrop:
i thought his performance last night was sublime, he let the game run and didn't give any stupid free kicks away. It was a referee that actually realised football is a contact sport. Full credit to the man - Wish more could be like himtup:

The sign of a good referee is when you dont even notice he is there and, like you say, the game flows!
I wonder what he is doing on Saturday ! lol

The sign of good referee is one who gets hailed 'Cheat cheat' by the away fans at half time jump: What was their beef?

The free-kick which the ref let us take early i presume?.....there was also some beef by the Bristol fans over whether it was a free-kick in the 1st place!!

Deano's quickly taken free-kick reminded me of beating Arsenal in the Prem! ...Did that really happen or was it a dream?
we didn't take it early, he had blown his whistle, not our fault if they weren't ready:p
didn't see whether it was a free kick though. The lino did, he had a good view of it, as I think the ref was about to book Deano as per normal when he intervened.
