I got the impression from the Derby fans that if we stumped up the money to buy him, then we could have had Holmes even before Davies made these signings.

We won't be able to stump up the money though, and no doubt someone else in our league or maybe the league above willl.

Dont think they will release them ...it is always handy to have players out on loan - the loanee club pay a percentage of the wages so it is like having a full time "back up plan" in case of injury etc

Just Look at Andrew Taylor last season Boro called him back and he was match fit and sharp enough to step right into their first team - better than any reserve team games!!!

:rolleyes: He's on a emergency loan deal, he will be leaving in 91-93 daystdwn: But, I can see us loaning him till the end of the season in January, but I can't see Graham etc... other loan signings staying any longer, it's just are luck, whyn they all have to be on loan:(
