new players gelling problems, no luck, blind ref, flukey goals
yep...looking forward to all this, and more... ;)
no goals, perhaps...but the "performance" was certainly there...
what a fooking goalie!!...bored stiff, and still managed to wake up for long enough to save a penalty!
UP THE CITY!

Yes let us hope they can raise their performances for the home crowds unlike previous seasons - at least until the Bristol game and hopefully afterwards.

Didn't do us much good or yield us any points, lets hope we go back to the dull but effective football soon eh?
I think I'll pass judgement when I see with my own eyes, by all accounts the performance was good but we always raise our game against the better sides, by this time next week we should all have a good idea how our season will pan out.

Not sure all three teams we are playing are fancied to do ok. End of the month maybe to evaluate.

Result apart the boys done good. One move in the 1st half made that twenty odd pass Argentina goal in the WC look like kick and rush Wimbledon of yesteryear. I haven't seen City play like that, EVER!
A lively box to box midfielder alongside someone with vision that can play a killer pass and also get ahead of the forwards and we would have pished it by two or three.
Btw, ALL the officials were outstanding. One shirt pull apart that he sadly chose to ignore, the referee had a blinder.
My MotM, Edgehill. The no11(I heard him called THREE different names)had a good first half.
Roll on tuesday.
COME ON CITY!!!

Just got back from forest, how they one that game i'll never know, the performance from the team was excellent and we should have got at least a draw. Got to say windass was poor again, he just wasn't making any runs. If we play like that on tuesday we will win against bristol city. what happened to eddie johnson being out for 6 weeks???

Windass was kept out by the forest centre backs likewise Graham - he still looks the part to me - very unlucky in the 2nd half - I got very excited when Eddie came on ooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh

I thought we played very well. Best I've seen for ages. If there keeper hadn't had a great game we'd have scored 2 or 3 easy. JJ looked ok beating players but his final ball was shocking! Hopefully this will improve. Holmes looked lively but the ball wasn't running for him. Every time he tried a trick the ball seemed to stick to the floor rather than his feet! Graham looked good. Not a bad game apart from the result of course!
