Don't you think his wages would be to exessive?

Maybe we should have a "Younger" man with more motivation?

CT may see JS as a threat to his position.

IMO Jakes should have being given the job, he's City through & through & has a genuine "love" for the club.
It's the least he deserves for his loyal service!

He is very experienced. It something we need within our reserve team at the moment, we need somebody who knows how to being young players on from the reserves to the 1st Team.

Parrot, not sure if he is threat; Todd would have been involved in the appointment, wouldn't he?

Who knows?

Maybe the appointment of coaching staff Is down to JR & board?

isn't the reserve team still the responsibility of the manager, even though he may delegate that to another person?

He seemed to imply that he was going to appoint somebody to look after the reserve team at the forum recently, or maybe I mis-heard that.

Can't see JR wanting to appoint a reserve team manager, not his style.

Smith once appointed Todd as his assistant at Derby and i feel they are good friends, ironically when they were having trouble at that time they ended their barren run against the bantams 2-0.

Given this i dont see why Todd should not return the faour to Smith but agree that he may be too old (IMO only)

I would think that Jim Smith is too big a name to want to take on the reserve coach spot in a Division One team. Wouldn't have thought we could afford his wages anyway.
