He should play from the start the only city player to get to the line and get a cross in which symes should have buried

out of all the young blood, i firmly believe that young jc is the pick of the bunch, anl out and out winger in the mould of a young john hendrie......and i wouldn't be surprised if he isn't still with us come the end of the season

Thats because Turd will not have been playing him as first choice Wardy. If he was in Turds plans,he would have started today.JJ on one side and Colbeck on the other now that would be interesting. But i feel Turd will do his usual and sign the old fart Rodgers and drop JC and demoralise another promising youngster.Symes who i was not sure about did more in 10 minutes than Windass did in the entire game. You can say he should have scored, but he did everything right and if that had been winter time the downward header would have not bounced over,as the pitch was hard and would have gone in.

Couldn't agree more matetup: ...In fact I compared him to John Hendrie on here after i'd seen him play the first time, all he needs to so now his to develop a "barrel chest" & start shagging the other players wives:D

Great player imo, that was one helluva cross to symsey and joco should really feature strongly in our side this year

I think Colbeck is a good prospect if he continues to improve - but are we not going over the top about his performance yesterday, ran back, covered and got an excellent cross in but otherwise he found it difficult to keep his feet - slipping on more than one occasion. His boots what ever they were were not giving him the grip he should expect.

Modern boots are crap. They don't grip and encourage injury! FIFA should bring in a worldwide mandate saying that all players should have to play in Billy's Boots, Dead Shot Keen Type, 1950's specials!
