There was a major investor if you remember the third party? This investor was willing to pump £2 million into the club he has supported since childhood.PE made it nigh on impossible for him to invest in the club and kept moving the goal posts everytime he came up with what was asked of by PE.Eventually he pulled the plug,which is just what PE was hoping for.This was because PE new he could pull the wool over JRs eyes,but would find it difficult if a person with true buisness accuman came on board.
