I am off to the cinema tonight to Superman. Yes I know I have been married to him for ages, but thought I would like to see the new one:D
Has anybody seen it yet?
btw this booking online for your tickets is great, just printed them off as well. So convenient.

In the old days you could button something around your neck as a cloak and you WERE Superman – how easily we were amused -- but them days are gone – missed and never known by this tecno. generation
loved every minute of it mallorca. Like you it took me right back to my young days. Two lads lived on our street, father was a merchant seaman, so he used to go to America; when he came back he brought loads of Superman comics for us all to share, you did that in them days, share things with your mates. I used to bury myself in those comics, and I was gone, whatever I read would stay with me for days. Yes like you went to the flicks at Dudley Hill, think it is a carpet shop these days. You would come out of there and think you could fly. Tonight I just came out of the cinema with a big smile on my face:p

I went to see it this afternoon bg, and it was decent enough for a couple of hours.
Did you pick up on the religious imagery? The last half hour from when he lands on the island was pretty much scene for scene an allegorical retelling of the Jesus crucifiction/resurrection story.

Jeez, guys don't spoil it for us. I'm now expecting the film to end with Superman flanked by batman and spiderman on crosses and the riddler and lex luther in the background, washing their hands Pilate-style!tdwn:
I loved it Superfat...........it is pure fantasy and you have to get into that sort of thing to enjoy it. Reality can be a bit much 24/7;)

Great film, I love how Superman looks just like Christopher Reeves, adds to the authenticity of it.
Funnily enough, I picked up on the religious stuff too; Sent to Earth by his father, resurrected, seen as the savior? Wonder who that is :o
Good film, better than some that have been hyped up but I think Lois Lane should've been Mischa Barton *druel*.
