Anyone ever been in the deluxe seats at Cineworld?.....i've heard its a lot smaller, has bigger seats and its own bar and toilets - there's a deluxe screening of pirates of the caribbean 2 at 22.05 this Saturday - i'm wondering whether its worth going later on rather than earlier to catch it in the deluxe section?...
Still as dirty and scruffy as the other areas, nothing special.

Dirty and scruffy?.....i've never thought so - certainly much cleaner than the Vue cinema at Kirkstall.....i'd go to the Odeon but its in a shit location (if your drinking) and its like a mecca pilgrimage site....

Showcase at Birstall retail park is our fave - but to be honest the noise of peasants munching non stop does my head in.

Me mate and his missus went in em the other week Matt, said they weren't worth the extra and he said the colonial spoilsports were still in force.
I still prefer the Showcase to anywhere for the flix purely down to the fact clientele there is better behaved than the Vue or any of the two Bradford Multiplexs. It's only a 20 Minute drive away and a piece of piss to park in a free and secure carpark. I'll go to the Cineworld at a push, but the Odeon at Thornbury is a no go area for anyone wanting to quietly enjoy a film with little distraction from tossers.

But how would i get there with a wife unable to drive (due to baby belly getting in the way) - and me wanting a booze?..... Besides the chinky next to Cineworld is good value and nice - and you get 15% off your meal if you show em your cinema tickets....
I weren't asking for folks views of their favourite cinema - just asking whether its worth eating later and watching the film later for the deluxe seats!.....tup:
