Absolute disgrace the German fans were I thought. Either the microphones were crap and didn't pick up the atmosphere or the fans truly were pathetic. They're the home nation and as such you expect a good show in the first game played however I was disgusted at the "support". I was left thinking what might have been had we been the home nation, now THAT would have been an atmosphere...:(

Another one of Blatters ideas, a minutes silence for all the FIFA "family"ie, football fans, who have died before they could get to this point of the World Cup.

He thinks so much of the "family", ie, football fans, they haven't had an earthly of getting tickets for the games.

And, if I heard correctly during the Germany game, Pearce was on about the fine beers available in Munich, but then stated that none of it was available in the stadium, as FIFA had a "preferred" beer partner, I presume Budweiser, nice move Blatter,I wish he would fooking die so we could have an hours worth of celebrating, wanker.

Great thing about Budweiser in Germany is that it is not allowed to be sold as Budweiser, since there is already the ORIGINAL Czech beer called Budweiser which is the only one allowed to be sold under that name. It tastes a million times better as well.
The beer in Munich is some of the best in the world, especially some of the local brews produced at the small breweries/monasteries/castles around the city. I've actually just booked my flight tickets to go and visit the October fest at the end of September with my other half, one of the greatest parties in the world.

As for the German support, I guess most people who had tickets were corporate sponsored, a lot probably not even German.

It must be the heat and/or acoustics cos I thought our lads were just as bad. Worse in fact, booing Hargreaves was well out of order. I bet it did wonders for his confidence.

I must admit that the thought of this thread did go through my mind when I was watching the game. Though with the exception of a few idiots, the English fans certainly seem to be making friends over there with their taking over of city centre squares and bars.
