The uncertainty of England's line-up is a concern more for other countries than us because they don't know how to line up their defence.

A defence against Owen Crouch is surely not the same one who faces Owen Rooney. A defence against pace/height is not the same as the defence against pace/pace.

Those films of him at the training sessions make him look both agile and speedy...When Beckham came out he wasn't doing much training wise if i remember rightly...

I'm not saying he looks fully fit but his recovery seems miraculous if everything is to be believed.....

A true blessing....lol

Its got to be R & O to start but if Lanky C comes off the bench it will change the formation and play of England in a big way which could be a big plus for us

I just wonder where the young lad fits in up front now

The fact he never brought him on whilst being in such a strong position against Jamaica speaks volumes really...

Could be Crouch and Rooney! Owen's hardly match fit either.

Difference with Beckham was that while he was injured he was banging Rebecca Loos up the Gary Glitter:eek: , while Rooney's being more focused on shafting other nations out of the WCtup:...Seriously though, Rooney looks a big strong lad from a Scouse housing estate:eek: ...while Beckham's more like a ponce from Milan's catwalkstdwn:

No chance, Jonny. Whether Owen is 100% fit or not he is fit enough and his predator skills are far better than Crouch or Rooney, plus he is a proven goalscorer on the big stage. Owen is one of the first three names on the teamsheet both for me and for Sven.

If both fit Rooney starts. With the doubts over Rooney's foot Crouch starts and Rooney gets a cameo role for the group stages.

Walcott is back-up for Owen IMHO in terms of his style, pace etc all closely match Owen's. Unless we went 4-3-3 chasing a game and then you spearhead the attack with Owen and Theo and either Rooney or Crouch in the hole behind them. Mmmmmmmm now there's a thought, or even put Stevie G in the hole.
