How much money can you Crouch lovers muster if Heskey moves to Wigan or Blackburn????

I say he will out score Crouch in the Premiership whilst at the same time admitting he isnt anywhere near as good as he used to be due to playing in relegation teams..

That said if he goes to Wigan or Blackburn he will easily out score the wooden one..

I can go up to £1000 comfortably.... You can bunch together and put your coppers in...

I never said Johnson was a Donkey, just ordinary and overpriced. Due to the type of player he is, I think Johnson will outscore Crouch. I don't think Johnson will be any great shakes next season though. Liverpool will get better value out of Crouch than Everton out of Johnson simply because there is far more to his game.

However, I will happily bet you fifty nicka of me own money and delightedly contribute towards any consortium that Peter Crouch will score more goals than Emile Heskey in the Premier League next season.

And If big Emille stays at Brum, I'll happily bet you 25 that Crouch still outscores him in a higher league and with eight less games.

If anyone else wants to raise the money to cover tone's bet against the whole board, I will happily go along with someone like Baldy settin up a paypal account for all the money to be paid into and give the password to tone or an approved head of the consortium next May.

Of course there should be something discussed to take into account injuries in the event of not making it a farce with ways to interpret fairness at the end of the season...saying this now benefits both parties, agreed?

Wasn't aware I'd badmouthed Crouchie... I've always thought of him as a decent footballer and that he gets undeserved amounts of abuse, while he perhaps shouldn't be a regular England starter (and indeed wouldn't be if Rooney were fit) I'd certainly have him in the squad as an excellent alternative.
