I noticed the other day the Don was made captain for the Jamaica v Ghana game but they lost 4-1 with Stewart scoring an own goal.

Has anyone heard if the Don will be playing tomorrow and will he keep his job as Captain? he was subbed in the last game and I know several city fans are going across tomorrow hoping to see him.

It would be nice to see a City player lead out his country against England and it would be just as nice to see him put in a breath taking performance to raise his stock.

I feel it could become embarassing for Jamacia tomorrow though and expect a big England win as the team clicks together for the world cup.

Jamaica have expelled 3 players for indiscipline: Marlon King, Jason Euell and Jamal Campbell-Rice. Curfew breaking and then apparently Marlon King started arguing about it.

It's a nothing match...I hope England continue to gel together. I hope the lads get a couple of goals..But i also hope DR does himself justice Stew Peas too..

Both good players but from a city point of view i really hope DR has a blinder...

Imagine that....There's a quiz question..

When was the last time a City player Captained their Country against England..???

Infact when was the last time a City player captained their Country????

Did McCall do the Jocks???

Come on matty help me out via Google or your "lads" sticker book lol:D tup:

BTW i want England to come out comfortable victors..But it's all about performance level now...

I'd love to see Big Don lead the team out -- hope both lads have a good one

Apparently Big Don had a stinker against Ghana and I don't see the advantage for City if he has a stonker against England. He could be taken away for a pittance and then City are keeperless. Howarth's gone, no keepers left if Big Don goes.

He's not that popular on TheReggaeBoyZ web forum. They think he should be replaced.

I don't give a flying fuck about City here. I hope Donavan makes a complete cnut of himself and he ends up with Lumbago through picking the ball out of the net so many times. Get real folks, this is England vs Jamaica and Bradford City don't even enter the equation. I'm also wary of a carthorse like Stewpeas playing against England the week before the World Cup. I hope he injures himsen early doors and gets taken off before he can do any damage to our players.

they'll have more chance if they come through this friendly against the equivelent of a League One side with players eager to make headlines unscathed. This game should have been against a fellow qualifier, not an international equivelent of the Dog And Gun!!tdwn:

It seems a certain dude on the Rastaboys message board thread above called "Hear me now" has picked up a saying from this very board.tup:
