Both are quality, i have the '3 lions 98' single which has both versions on and i have to say its hard to chose between them....both sound very very similar anyway

96 is the better. I always find 98 a bit tacky for some reason.

If they were going to rerelease it the should do a new version or put out the original.

Cant beat the original 96 version for me, it was from Baldiel n Skinners hearts!
The 98 version was just manufactured & edited to make money & please the masses...Still like em both thoughtup:

96 was better, it captured the mood for the tournament until the fookin germans trid to pinch it afterwards
