I'm not unless Todd gets the axe , not worth the effort - the ticket i paid for can go in the bin .
Next match for me is Scunny at VP.

I've sent our two ST vouchers to the club with a covering letter explaining that every one till the end of the season will be getting returned unless Todd is sacked!! I've also explained that our renewal forms will sat in the drawer until he goes!!

I am. Might take a flask, a paper and my radio though - see if I can get coverage of some other game.

I'm not going but only because of personal circumstances.....can't say I'm bothered though:(

Dr Wisey
03-20-2006, 12:23 PM
a crowd of less than 6,000 ?

Iam going to be there in The BB for sure......I go for the beer these days....I stopped watching the football months ago.

Rick

I still don't know wether to go or not.

Dr Bunson

Get in there Rickaaaay old boy...you know it makes sense.

Jantje
03-20-2006, 12:37 PM
yep i,m going cos if Todd can't motivate the players maybe the crowd can, we still need to get behind the team till the end of the season

Dr Wisey
03-20-2006, 12:47 PM
there's always one , the best thing for the team would be the removal of fucwit and l666sfan from the dugout.

Jantje

I'm a City fan, not a Todd Fan. I go to watch the team not the idiot sat in the dug out

Well said. It hurt on Saturday when a large chunk of the crowd seemed to be merely waiting for us to concede so they could vent their anger on Todd - I would have been happier with a rousing backing of the lads for 90 minutes and then as the final whistle goes get stuck into the Manager.

I'll be going tomorrow night for the nice panoramic views of Bradford and surroundings!

Too right, the lights of Tescos from the Kop might be more appealing if we play shite again

Dr Bunson

I take it you'll be sat in The Sunwin gazing over to Wrose where the good folk live then Fat lad?

April Fools Day, Todd will be in his element then.

I will be holding off renewing my season ticket whilst Todd is in charge and I fully respect the stance you are taking KB, you'll have to let us know if you get a reply from the club.

Nope, I'll be top tier of the Kop overlooking our great industrial roots now a sprawling metroplis of poorly kept housing estates. Either that or I'll be counting the number of cars that go down Midland Road.

I'm probably going. Wouldn't put it any stronger than that. The 2 who normally go with me aren't, so I may see how cold it is first.

I've got work commitments and i have no holidays left,as i dont get this years till April.I dont know if i would waste one anyway on that shower of shite.

I will be there, it just doesn't feel right to be sat at home when City are at VP, don't have a problem with the ones that don't feel able to go whilst Todd is in charge though.

Well said. I said that last time i came against Bristol, there was no noise from the crowd. I know everyone is p****d off but they still need lots of positive noise if were to stay up. Lets just stay up and then look forward to a much better, more positive season with new players, Manager and investors. Just seen the goals and feel for you faithfull fans that keep turning up but please keep the faith. Remember City till i Die! were not dead yet.

Dr Wisey

It's all ifs and buts though

new players if
new manager if
new investor/s if

I am less than impressed by JR's programme notes from Saturdays game .

Dr Wisey
03-20-2006, 03:01 PM
We'll be back for the Scunny game and the return of the God Beagrie Beagrie Beagrie - maybe as manager lol .

king billy
03-20-2006, 03:46 PM
I'll be back for the Scunny game, but my vouchers for tomorrow are in the envelope with a letter which i'm taking down to the club reception and gonna try and deliver personally to JR tomorrow! It may seem fruitless, after all they already have our money - but small gestures like this may, just may make him take on board some of our feelings, i'm not holding my breath for a response though - in GR's time i would have had a phonecall within 10 minutes of handing it in!!

Good on you KB, unfortunately I don't hold out much hope of you meeting the elusive one, although even if the message gets through your actions will have been a success. Although I will be going to the remaining matches there is fook all chance of me renewing my ST-no matter how good the prices are-with that twot in charge.

king billy
03-20-2006, 04:30 PM
Well in case he's not there - or unwilling to see me, i've marked the envelope "private and confidential" - still don't guarantee that the organ grinder reads it but there's not much else i can do i don't suppose!!

Parrot

Matt, you've got more chance meeting this man riding Shergar than actually seeing JR in the flesh:eek: :D

I know mate but its a slightly different angle on protesting, fan power will always win in the long term, JR is just the guardian of the club - we own it comrade :D If it cranks up the pressure - even just the tiniest, little bit then it would be worth it dude!!

after Saturdays non enjoyment , it's obvious the players are under the control of the puppetmuppetmeister - I prefer some quality time with the young 'uns than watch that rabble again so soon.

Can't make it myself unfortunately, due to working both Tuesday and Wednesday.

500 miles and a sea-crossing away.

And me car's broken.

Apart from that, of course I'd be there.

Dr Bunson
03-20-2006, 09:07 PM
Dont you ever go to watch any of the Belguim teams?

Zonnebloem
03-20-2006, 09:13 PM
Watched Diegem a few weeks ago, in the equivalent of about 4th tier/conference because it was a nice sunny day and Royal Antwerp hovering between 1st and 2nd division. You can take your beer onto the terracing. Real beer glass and everything.

Can't quite tag onto Anderlecht over in Brussels.

But none of it is my home town. It's not the same.

So a truely great protest Matty...:D

One match eh!!!

Bet that will send shivers down JRs back knowing that the bloke who wrote such a heart felt plea is only gonna miss some midweek game against Blackpool... That game was destined to be a low crowd so your presence will hardly be noticed in the grand scheme of things...

Well done you Arthur Scargill of VP you.. That will show em..One out all out replaced though by "well im going out that night so i will just write this letter to JR first"

lol:rolleyes: ;)

Rick

I have decided I shall be going to the game tonight, but I will be going on my own as no one else wants to waste their time watching the shite we will no doubt be watching tonight.

03-21-2006, 02:39 PM
Well, I'll be there as well Rick. A mate rang up asking for a lift, so that's swung the decision round and I will definitely be attending.

Thing is Tony...you may scoff but in the unlikely event that Julie does read Matt's note, he will know who he is and that he is a passionate fan, as Julie himself proffesses to be....so I think it will make him think a little!:)

It will make him think that the extent of any protest will be people missing a midweek match they didn't intend to go to anyway, but they'll be resuming normal service after that.

I doubt that Matt's voice is a lonely one....but as Chuckles says....do they get to the desired recipitant?:)

Fook me, a mate has just asked me for the spare ticket. The last time this fella took a spare ticket off my hands we beat Walsall 2-0 it could be a sign.
