19 - sums up the season. Not that many up the Kop end either.

The team CT has assembled has been poor with very few players who have any credibility so far this season.

Ricketts still needs to work on aspects of his game - one of the better ones
Howarth - could be better - when commanding his area and communicating with his defence
Holloway a poor season / poor diciplinary record/ improved of late though.
Edghill - his performances in the main pretty good - but had some dips - difficult to judge - not seen enough due to injury.
Weathers pretty good - but showing signs of his age at times.
Bower - not up to last seasons standards - but pretty good. has a lot to learn about the left back position.
lewis - not consistent enough but is not allowed to have a settled position - so how can he build experience/confidence. Has to work on his tackling, shooting and crossing - Colin?
Stewart one of the brighter prospects - again needs to work on aspects of his game
Muirhead - his level of consistency is poor - the team have to carry him too often. Hopefullly he can get back to fitness and improve.
MBW - has got it - but has gone missing too many times - poor season. Injury - not retained in one postion?
Schuey - has gone backwards - big disappointment.
Crooks - steadied the ship but did not offer too much going forward - not the worst to have graced VP. Let us down at Kidderminster - discipline!
Kearney - looks like his heart is not in it - seeing out his contract - though given few opportunities
Morrison - enigma - does not look like CT has the mangement skills to get the best out of him - or fit him into the team to give him a free role - poor
Petta - sick note - flashes of his skills - attitude questionable - looks a like he would rather be some where else - appears to be a wrong signing
Cooke - plenty of work - another finisher is what we require but could not deliver in this area
Windass - has let the team/club down big time with his attitude and his performances since the Wigan transfer speculation.
Claridge - heart in the right place - but it was not he signing the club needed. I am not impressed with his training arrangements.
Wilbrahim - best attribute was that he was beating defenders in the air - too early to judge.
Penford - he is one of the highlights of this season - lets hope he is given the chance to develop and hopefully not go backwards.
Colbeck needs to be given more opportunities - when possible.
Joe brown - where is he?
Todd/davison - how much effort are they putting in - as i have said in earlier posts the team are chopped and changed, look like they have poor preparation - and the coaching seems to install little confidence and improve players. Fitness levels, passing and movement off the ball are not up to scratch. They give up on players without allowing them to gain experience/build confidence when in the first team.
Some of the players he has signed do not have seem to have been researched / scouted - with little thought about attitudes and what they add to the team or not in our case. This is worrying given that there has to be an influx of new faces to replace a great number of the existing squad.
Rant over!!!

Some good words there briggus, maybe CT is not good enough, I think that some of the squad certainly arn't.
CT has to make the best of a poor bunch, as have the fans -- big changes are needed by JR and the new investor/s ---

If the investor is a city fan, city loosing wont put him off, he will just want to get in sooner and kick start a revival --- I hope

Had to get that off my chest mallorca - as it is dire watching the team at the moment. You get postive vibes about potential investors (yes plural) and all you see put infront of you is an ill prepared team with a number of individuals with no fight or comittment in the first 45 minutes.

Wellens must have thought christmas had come early this year - he is a good player - but should have not been dictating play as he did. When did we last have a midfielder like that?

Something is sadly lacking in the coaching area at the moment.

Hows the weather in mallorca? Whats the forecast? My son a city fan is coming out at the end of next week on a Bfd Uni geography field trip?
Me next week I'll be freezing in Prague - so will be spared the blackpool game.
