Rhodes answered some of the speculation as to who the investor might be and good to see that Julian Rhodes has a sense of humour when discussing potential investors...

'I thought however it might be worth looking at some of the names that have been banded about in speculation since i revealed the talks were happening.'

says something about it not being Morrison then says:

'Then again there have been suggestions of Geoffrey Richmond making a return, perhaps as part of a dream double with Peter Risdale. I WOULD HOWEVER, POINT OUT THAT MY DEFINITION OF AN INVESTOR IS SOMEONE WHO PUTS MONEY INTO A CLUB!'

Bit of a dig at Richmond there before...

'Finally could Ashley Ward decide now is the time to make the step up the board room level? Reports are he has unfinished buissiness at Bradford...like finding the back of the net perhaps?' :D

He also pretty much denies that its Mumtaz saying he prefers the saffron.

He says talks are ongoing and that progress has been made over the last week and that he is optimistic a deal will be sorted out.

Very good, he seems to have left the most likely candidate out though, The there's no fooking investor and never has been one.
