Someone do me a favour before I make a right tit of mesen. Were we the last team in this division to play in the prem or did Forest come down after us? I'm sure we are the last team in league one to have played premiership football.

They were relegated before we got promotion - we never played em in the top flight, was it the season we got promotion that they got relegated? Because i can't remember playing em in our promotion season!!

City went down after 2000/01
MKD (Wimbledon) and Sheff W went down 99/00
Forest went down 98/99

Thats why i don't remember playing em in the promotion season then....:)
The first season back in the first after relegation was the first time i'd been to Forest since the coca-cola cup tie where sticks scored in extra time - and back then i never used to miss away games.....:)

Forest went down the season Clough took a £50,000 bung in order to sell his best player - nice legacy !

Jeez - if you look on that site that Zonne give a link to - then look at the old first division when we were promoted to the prem (98/99) look how many of the teams are in the lower divisions now - seems an absolute age that Stockport and Bury were in that div....

TBH historically West Brom are quite a big club - as are Fulham - both have more history than us!! Wigan haven't really been around long enough to have a history so i suppose they deserve the chance to write a bit....

I obviously aren't sure but I have a good feeling for our near future. I think the club have now paid the price for our past misdemeanours ( ripping off our creditors) and once we get this bloody awful season out of the way I sense good times ahead. Im had the same feeling just before Jagger was given the job and look what happened then. Oh its gonna rain soon too, I feel it in my water. Mystic Dave will prevail. Or look a pillock.
