Can't believe the booing of Rooney and Neville in that 1st half tonight.
It's England playing on and English football field with so called England fans watching.
The scousers don't have a right to do that, if that's how they behave it's time to take international football right away from Merseyside cos they don't deserve it.

Come off it - Neville's deserved the booing - he's been fookin crap..... :p

For the first time in years i'm finding myself shitting myself when someone's running at him - is it just me or is he looking old and slow?

Question Steve - do you honestly think we wouldn't boo a L**ds or Hudders player if England played at VP? Especially one that had come up and give us a load of stick a few weeks before?

I didn't know that the tickets were sold exclusivley to fans of the host team for these England games.

No, they should put that aside tonight.
England are playing and no I wouldn't boo a L666s player playing for England at VP or anywhere else.
Neville and his brother have always been shite but they seem to be picked by a succession of England managers before anyone else so we should be supporting our players not booing them.

There not Dave, but in seemed a section of scousers were booing Neville and Rooney, the rest of the crowd responded by chant 'one Gary Neville' which I believe is over the friggin top to.

Could have been Man City or Leeds fans.

Neville brought it on himself with his daft celebration a few weeks ago.
Plus ticket are sold to everyone not just scoucers.
Wasn't Crouch roundly booed at old trafford?

And Crouch got booed at Old Trafford when playing for England.
When I say the title of thread i thought Norm was having a go at the booing of the Uraguayan national anthem, and like neville, its rubbish too.

can't quite believe i read that! neville had a great game at right back. consistently overlapped beckham and passed to swp for the winner. he was a constant extra threat down the right and was never in trouble defensively. oh, and he's been the same for about 10 years too. i can't belive the stick g neville gets, he's a fucking player that lad!

Eeh I dont fookin know!!
KB what a load of Tosh...The fans which were booing Neville & Rooney were well out of order.

Some scousers had no intention of supporting their national team last night and instead bought tickets so they could vent their hatred for a rivals players. Liverpools former image of having the most knowledgable and sporting fans is now just a memory...which is sad.

Booing of the national anthems is also poor form......I thought it never happened outside London.

Btw...If I was at Valley Parade watching an England team which included TB's & Beeston players, there's no way would I boo them.

Mind you the way the Premiership is going with all these foreign players, England might have to start picking its team from the Championship and League 1 soon. So we could see a couple of TBs there.

Defensively Neville was gash last night - sure he looked good going forward but he's a defender!! He was stitched up a handfull of times and his lack of pace in getting back to make up for it scared the shit out of me....i didn't realise he'd aged so quickly - i fully agree he's been head and shoulders our best right back for 10 years - maybe even greatest of all time, take your blinkers off though defensively he had a mare last night - he/we can't afford to keep doing that, especially with Ferdinand the donkey looking like he'll be in the starting eleven at "doing a Bruno" Cambell's expense!!

Norm - i don't know what the big deal is, one of the downsides about England playing round the country is the local tribal rivalries - wouldn't have happened at wembley, it were a few boo's FFS, i'm sure neither lost any sleep over it....
