With Deano banned for 5 games do you think that BMW could be used as an emergency striker?
OK he's no target man but he's the only one bar Deano in the squad who looks like they can hit the backside of a Cow with a Banjo:eek: :D
Cookey seems to be out of CTs plans, Cadders falls into the "couldn't" category, so who's gonna get our goals in the next 5 games?
BMW can score goals has he's proved throughout his career, so it me not be a bad idea eh?

He's the only one who's looked of any worth in midfield in recent weeks. Yes, we'd have someone who could find the back of the net up front, but would it be worth our midfield crumbling and subsequently Bridge receiving nowt up there anyway?

well yes he might, but I think we would miss him in midfield.

I would play Brown, yes I know he hasn't done much, but at least he will get 5 games to prove himself; he is still young and the pressure of trying to prove it to know it all Todd in 5/10 minute intervals, is not good for his developement. I would also play Cooke, he is a good all round player and at some point his drought has to end. Claridge might feature, and it would be case of putting him on for half and hour or so if the other two are struggling, beyond that we have nothing.

I would hate to sacrifice BMW in that midfield role;

Let us see what our young player can do, with some good coaching from Windass and others in the squad he might develop into a good striker. If he doesn't get a chance now with our main striker in dock, when does he?

Cooke and Claridge
Cadders behind the front two

Petta or Lewis on the left.
Penford and shuey in the centre
MBW on the right

Defence sorts itself out

with Brown on the bench ..

don't disagree with your formation too much there tone but i reckon if we played petta behind the front 2 it would force him into the game. he gets lost and goes missing on the left wing.lets keep him central,on the ball and involved, it'll pay mark my words!

I like Cooke as much as the next guy, and I'd probably play him, but to say his 'drought' has to end some time is ridiculous, you speak as if one he gets one he'll get loads.. not gonna happen, is it. he's had 3 or else 4 droughts while with City, and he's got a goal, and subsequently gone on another goalless streak, lets face it.. he just doesn't score many.

I have no idea who is going to score while Deanos out. Cadders is garbage, Cooke just doesn't score, Browns young, inexperienced, and if he was THAT good, he'd be playing, I just don't fancy him to bag us 20 goals. Forrest and Sanasy are out on loan, Symes is out on loan, ladies and gents.. we're screwed. haha.

oh and Claridge is a dinosaur.

with the lack of quality crosses from out wide it will make no difference who is centre forward - by the way a little bird told me we are signing a forward on loan from Norwich City .

Would have Cooke and Claridge up front while Deano is out..

Leeroy was playing in the Conference South for Aldershot reserves but was picked up by Norwich as they were short of silver service waiters for Delia's Grill & Bistro.
He's played a number of games for the 3rd team and is now ready for a crack at the big time.
Norwich are paying half his wages and the fellla signs on the line on Weds in time for his debut on Saturday.
