This league is so close this season, its a pity city have not been able to do better.
Any team going on a run could gain promotion; I don’t think it will be us as a lack of goals is a big big problem.
CT is getting the stick, but when we make chances and dont score, dont shoot the manager

really, we should be at the top of this league. it must be the shitest league ive ever seen and with our squad we should be turning teams over week in week out. but we got ultra defensive, shit motivation, no tactical idea, arrogant todd in charge, so we're not :(

Not a lot there to dissagree with, whats this about Big Don running to put the ball on the line for the kick off after they had scored --- it puts some of the others players to shame --- and thats not down to CT its the players themselves

I think it's cos Big Don blames himself for not coming for the ball so tried to hurry people up .....

Why Holloway had to stand on half way and argue for a minute about the postioning off the ball for that freekick i'll never know, move it back 3 yards and whack it for christ sakes.

I think some off them believe they should be in a higher league.

However i'd play Bower as a winger! he was bloody awesome taking on there defenders and were he turned 3 or 4 off there defenders inside out was amazing.

The most delusional view this season is that we should be topping the league. We have a worse squad than last season and half of the team are lazy tinners, why the hell should we be top of the league?

I don't think theres anything wrong with the tactics or the way Colin Todd is trying to get us to play, you can see that he is trying to get them to play good football, but the thing is he's signed sh*t wasters that will never be able to play good football. Todd has always been rubbish at signing players.

If we really had a squad that had the potential to win the league, a squad that could play good football and do it consistently then we would win the league. Fact is Todd cannot sign decent players.

lets take a look at our ideal starting 11 then...

ricketts - qualty keeper, world class even, basically given to todd by his contacts at bolton
weathers - undoubted quality, a true pro
bowers - Ditto
Edgehill - proven at a higher level and looks promising
Mani - this guys got it in him, he just needs some good management from todd and he'd be one of our best performers imo
MBW - quality playmaker can dictate games and score some crackers. proven at this level getting 15 goals in one season for Port Vale
Penford - Shows touches of class and is a creative genius. a little lightweight at the moment but give him an extra 2 years to bulk out and he'll be a regular at this level if not higher
Morrison - Started showing us what he can do earlier in the season till Todd cruely dropped him. Admittedly lazy at times but give motivation he's one of the best wingers in this division
Petta - Former premiership & SPL, likewise to morrison, give him some good man management and he'd be amazing. Showed us all what he is capable of against the tb's at home
Windass - 28 goals last season, 16 this, speaks for its self
Cooke - Scored goals for fun at previous clubs, must be unluckiest footballer in the world! gets into the right positions but just needs a bit of the rub of the green

When at best that is a strong squad in an average league. this league is way, way, way below average...almost paralell to lg2 in quality! we should be up there challenging, rhodes clearley thinks this and do you not remember the optimism at the start of this season? fact is if we get rid of the deadwood and hire someone that can motivate players we would be a top team.

Even MK Dongs fans were harping on about how their team were too good for this league at the start of the season. Bristol fans think they should be topping the league. For every club in this division theres a set of fans of that club who think they have a good enough squad to be topping the league.

We have some good players that perform consistently, the rest perform one in every ten games.

For every club in this division theres a set of fans of that club who think they have a good enough squad to be topping the league.

We have some good players that perform consistently, the rest perform one in every ten games.

The word "consistent" in terms of quality is the key word. Some players have been consistently - inconsistent. I think CT is at some fault the way he axes certain players - this can not do much for their confidence. He should persevere - with more individauls - though to be fair he does see them during training/coaching sessions - so he may be basing his selection on their overall attitude.
