Not criticising, I'd genuinely like to know because from what's been coming out of the club, I gather that JR is an ambitious chairman who is willing to and has put money into the club to try and improve us, even in the rising face of adversity (i.e. crap results and projected reduced ST sales).

Also, like I say, replacement millionaires with a passion for City and a drive to move forward don't just grow on trees...

I know it's hard to keep the faith with Rhodes at the moment what with him seemingly clinging on to Todd but I reckon he knows what he is doing, I wouldn't worry about it as much as you obviously are.

Why would Julian turn down anyone's money? he's crying out for investors.

If he's turned down an investor, have you stopped to think why? is it in the best intrests of the club and his business?

Sure it might be good that someone put an offer forward of £1 million for the sake of arguement but what if that investment comes with many catches and get out clauses.

For example:

1) I invest £1 million on the grounds that your invest the same amount - if we failed to gain promotion within 1 season I want my money back.

2) I want to own 51% of the shares for less than you paid for the 100 % you currently own.

It's obvious certain people have been told something from within Valley Parade and are using this to cause problems through out the fan base.

These people know maybe 50% or maybe more but wont be privy to every single detail of a financial investment proposal and people making posts like this contribute to problems they say are going on down at Valley Parade.

I say to all those accross all messageboards who are posting this to put up or shut up. As these people are causing as many problems as the silence coming from within Valley Parade.

I think the problem we have with the Club is a severe lack of telling us what is actually going on!!!

I wouldn't want to see JR go and I think with the amount of money the Rhodes family have chucked at City I don't think they would just want to walk away. Nobody is ever going to make money from owning a football club, simple as that. The days of large cash investors are over!! The only reasons anybody would keep putting money into a football club would be (1) out of love for that club (2) to protect an interest they have in something to do with that club (3) as a hobby!!!

The thing is I have always felt a bit sorry for Gibb. He came in and paid the mortgage off on the ground using the Falmingo Land Pension Fund with the agreement that the Club would then rent it back to him. He let the club have 12 months rent free to get themselves sorted and then got shafted by been asked to let us stay there rent free for another 12 months!! The truth he could have been in serious trouble for money laundering had that happened and I'm not surprised he was cheesed off!!

The interesting thing is that to protect his 'investment' (ie reason 2!!) he would probably take over City purely so the money borrowed from Flamingo Land would keep getting paid!!

Gibb couldn't afford to let this club fold, He would owe the Tax Man so much money not only that but he'd owe his family a fortune.

If Rhodes has or is willing to sell up/give it away and nobody is intrested Gibb knows and so does the "real" business world that he will have to step in.

Why on earth did he say he'd be the night watchman during our spell in administration? because he knows if nobody takes on this money loosing club he will have to step back into the fold full time in order to prevent him having massive defaults on a legally binding contract on his pension fund.

He could loose everything if Bradford City ceased too exist, he wouldnt just have an empty shell of a stadium that he couldn't do anything with but he'd have to forfit everything he owns including his families wealth. That is why it was so much of a risk for him to pay off Lombard.

I'm not Gibb's biggest fan, far from it but he's a very good business man and I do believe had he not had to work with a business partner he didnt know from Adam he would of got this club back on a even kell and got us back to the championship by now.

He's far richer than Rhodes, he's got a brilliant business background and turned Flamingo land from a company loosing money into a profitable company and if anyone has been to flamingo land they will know that was not easy as it's a pile of shite.
