Hi guys just joined but have been reading for a few weeks. I am a City fan but now live in North Wales and so only get to a few matches when visiting family. It seems to me that a lot of people on this site spend more time slagging off the team and management than supporting the team.
I agree that a lot of matches are very frustrating especially for those that spend a lot of money on season tickets etc, however please remember that Dean Windass has scored 15 goals this season. Take these away and where would Bradford be. Not many others could step in and replace this. Colin Todd who is responsible for the team i agree, but is subject to financial restrictions (if he had a bottomless pocket like Murinho then i am sure he would have better options available to him. He is trying the best with the resources available. Get someone like Beagrie with no track record and things could go from bad to worse. Why doesn't all you negative folks try to get behind the team and make lots of good noises at the matches as winging and horrible messages on flags wont win games. If you are true fans then get behind the whole team. Nothing you say or do will change things if he is going to go or stay it will be up to the board. I thing being more positive will give fans and team a needed lift and if things still go badly then when they do finally make changes then see what happens. Sorry to go on but i think that hate mail and Todd out banners dont make true fans. A nice letter to the boad would have a better effect if you truly beleive we need a new manager but negativity on the pitch will not win any matches and may even drive people away!

Welcome to C&B Sooty, you make some good points. However since many on here have been witness to lack lustre matches and results it's going to take a good run of victories to reinstall a little confidence in Todd.
What you say about Windass is true, but I suspect that he might be hampering some of the other squad by his giant ego. He's certainly let the side and fans down with his mouth and disciplinary record and is certainly no role model. If he had left for Wigan earlier on, maybe some of the other younger attackers might have had a chance to prove themselves, building the attack around Windass I feel has been a mistake. Todd seemed to realise that the other week, but then Windass gets a 5 match suspension.
As for slagging off those that are slagged off on here, many I believe are just venting their frustration which they are welcome to do on here. Again if the team and the club, gave us something to cheer about we'd be behind them all the way. But right now most of them and those running the club have to earn some brownie points.

nice thoughts mate , but try telling the likes of Parader that he aint a true fan , he's no hot head at all - I don't think that many of us boo the team .
I think living away has made your view a little blinkered and i mean that politely and not as a jibe , this season has seen the club go backwards with the squad Turd put together and his excuses and man management seem poor at best.
As for writing nice letters to the board at City , forget it , they are on a different level and view most fans as peasants unless they have a suit and / or splash out in the Banqueting suite .
There's a real groundswell of unhappiness within a lot of supporters at City , they can't say they have not been warned can they ? ( they as in the powers that be at City ).

thanks for youre welcome. I know it must be frustrating for you paying fans to see such performences its bad enough for me being an armchair supporter and working with a barnsley fan. I just think that being positive is better for the team on match day. When i took my 7 yr old son to Wrexham last year there was more noise from the City fans especially my son that when we were at VP. Make noise from the start not just when they score. If Todd does go for what it is worth i think Stu McCall would be a loyal BCFC manager and maybe Richard Branson would improve things in the Boardroom!

Hi i'v just joined myself,i'v been going to city since i was about 6 and i'v never been this low about things,we've had the good times and now we are having the bad times,i think todds time is up.Todd has had nearly 2 seasons to get city back up or at least get us into the playoffs and its been average to say the least.todd just isnt the man to take us forward,we need someone who's gunna motivate the team and make them realise that we are too big of a club for this division and personally i think that man is either stuart McCall or peter beagrie.

Hi Coley
I know things look bad but i believe City will stay up. By next year things may be different. I just hope something is done before the end of the season as loss in fans will not be good.
You think Bradford are bad, my poor wife supports Chester City Ian Rush was pants and losing 5-0 on Saturday to Carlisle (she is suicidle).

Ye i agree i think city will stay up but i think there won't be much in it come the end of the season.I just can't see where the goals are gunna come from with windass out for 5 games now,we only managed 32 goals in 31 games so i do worry a bit for them.

I know what you mean Cook Cademateri And Claridge cant seem to find goal.
What about Brown should he not get more chances.
I think what Todd should do is get a decent striker on emergency loan.
Mind you even a decent striker does need service from midfield. COME ON MBW and SCHUEY. Petta could do Betta!

Ye i think the younger lads should be given more of a chance like brown but it won't happen under todd, for some reason he keeps sticking with the senior strikers who arn't doing their job.The seasons pretty much over for us now but we still need to get something like 15 or 16 points with the games left to avoid the drop so we might need to get an emergency striker in on loan.
