Roll up your sleeves and prepare for a dogfight.
That was the grim warning from Colin Todd after the Bantams returned empty-handed from in-form Colchester United.
City, one of five sides locked in mid-table on 39 points, are only five clear of the drop zone.
And Swindon Town, who currently occupy the fourth relegation spot in 21st, come to the Bradford & Bingley Stadium on Saturday.
Talking to the Telegraph & Argus Colin Todd said: "I've told the boys that there is a battle on now. It's no good looking at the other end of the table.
"The Swindon game has suddenly become even more important in the light of what has happened. We are going to need to show that resolve to put things right.
"It's disappointing because I thought that we did well against Colchester in the first half, although there were a number of times we got the ball in good areas and then gave it away.
"But I'm just mystified that the same players couldn't control the game in the same way in the second half. It was the same as the Tranmere game.
"In both we have done extremely well up to half-time but cannot keep that up. But goals kill you and they got two that quickly at the start of the second half without having to work for them."
City are waiting for news on Richard Edghill but fear they could lose the full back for the rest of the season.
Edghill, playing his first game back since signing a new deal, lasted only 35 minutes at Layer Road before suffering a suspected broken ankle.
With Dean Windass, who scored his fifteenth goal of the campaign, approaching the start of his five-match ban on 20 February, City's squad is looking thin.
Todd may have to approach chairman Julian Rhodes in a bid to swell numbers. Although the transfer window is closed, clubs are still allowed to bring in players on an emergency loan basis.

If he goes to JR with such a request I'd tell him to get his coat and f*** off.

we can but hope that the Turd departs , looking at the next 2 home games we really need to be winning both of those , forgetting about any chance of picking anything up at Swansea bar a rout.
This club seems to be deteriorating by the week on and off the pitch :-(
