It's a pity that he's going - he's done a good job in bringing through youngsters. Without him we wouldn't have had Francis, and there's a chance that Forrest, Sanasy, Penford etc might not have progressed as well.

He must of been on two packets of pork scratchings and 4 pints of beer a week, as thats what they offerred bobby petta.

Wasn't he one of Nicky Laws men?
Anyway, we have to get the money for the new reserve team coach from somewhere, don't we?
I thought he came in with Todd? I think the new reserve manager will look after the youth team(s) and half a full and rounded roll at the club. I expect it to be an ex-player who love's the club dearly ;)

Hey i thought Pinto was quite good, shame he got homesick and ended up legging it!!!
I liked him also, We was sent back wasn't he? he couldn't speak a word of English and about a month before he left he just moved all his family over to England, think we got the better of the four Pinto Brothers :D

He always seemed to enjoy himself though even through his problems, a little like Edinho he always had a smile on his face!!! The were the days though 42 players in one season most of them foreigners........... Good old Kammy
What was that finish player that was brilliant and Kamara bent over back wards to get him - Jari?

i remember doing work experience at city as a groundsman when he was here at City and Edinho was always staying behind for extra training with Jewell, and when i was rolling the pitch for a reserve game Jewell ran past and said you could tell him to fuck off and hed smile and say hello friend lol. those were the only words he knew hehe

Did any of you see Valhalla play?
Blink & you would have missed it!
CK gave him about 15 mins against some team & he couldn't kick the ball from A-B lol !!!
He was like that guy who tricked Souness(was It?) to play him in a Premier league game a few years ago.
He came on as a sub then 10 mins later got subbed!!! Pmsl

I remember Vallhalla coming on for those 15 minutes or so, it was a night game against Reading and I think the score was 0-0. I can't remember anything else about him though.

Yes, I remember him coming on, I didn't think he touched the ball. I thought I heard some rumour afterwards that he was 40 years old or something like that.

What about Gunnar Halle?
What about Etienne VerVeer, does anyone remember him?
They built him up as he used to play for Ajax but he was garbage, he did manage 1 goal in his time at city against Bristol Rovers and he got Tom Cowan sent off at Hudderfield town for the delayed dive after the headbutt.
In many ways he is similar to the guy Mike Bassett has brought in from Ajax on loan.:D
