Last I heard the 1987/88 final was winning & rightly so IMO.

McCall came off the bench to score twice for everton only for Rush to come of the bench and score 2 for liverpool.

In recent history the Liverpool turn round where Owen scored twice to beat Arsenal 2 - 1.

All I can remember about that game is the near miss for L**ds, when the ball hit the woodwork & rebounded.

The late Billy Bremner was lying on the floor & stuck his leg out hoping to knock the ball into the goal, but fortunately for non L**ds fans , he missed it!
