Or maybe the club have just realised that the slickers are cack dancers and have ditched them. When they dance they move like extra's out of shaun of the dead or someone being sprayed with machine gun fire.

Bring on the starlights.

(When i first saw the headlines on the official website of New Entertainment-Starlights i thought our commercial and matchday directors had gone mad and decided a good policy to attract new fans would be to wrap christmas fairy lights around the stands....so what i'm really tired:rolleyes: )

at least these lot look like women unlike the pubescant city slickers! it made me sick watching grown men salivating over young girls. as far as i'm concerned it's still a load of shite.half time drags on enough without some attention seeking wannabee footballers bitch strutting her stuff in the centre circle. i think we should go back to 3 minutes for half time, let the players have a quick suck of an orange quarter then get back on with it. half time's only purpose these days is earning the club money in food and drink.
any fitness coach would tell you that going at it for 45 mins then stopping for 15 and then going at it again is bad for the body.half time should be a quick team talk, munch a banana, then back out. the clubs will never go for it cos they make too much money in the interval. we should be more like america where the food/drink is brought to you as you are watching the game.how many people don't bother buying owt at city because of the queues?me sometimes if i cant be arsed.imagine a baseball type scenario where your sat there watching the game and a waitress will bring you a drink and a pie! sweet!this is a consumer's world we're living in now.the entertainments industry should have to compete to keep us at their place of business.city should be at the forefront of all that cos what we've been lacking from the year dot is decent customer service.it'll never happen.

Improving the matchday experience at Valley Parade is so easy it makes you wonder why they havent thought of it or put it into action themselves.

IMO 5 a side kids football at half time is alright entertainment and i thought the drummer people that were at some of last years home games were pretty good, they got the atmosphere going and made it feel less bland. Get the dancers, 5 a side football, and the drummer lads + lasses on the pitch before the game and at half time. Allow people to bring in the ticker tape claret and amber stuff to throw into the air for when the teams come out. Allow some flags in.

Then all you need to bring back is some fans....and bingo, you have a matchday atmosphere.

I don't know how i think them up....oh wait i don't, i've seen it all before only it was abandoned because it was too dangerous.

the crossbar challange weve seen at a few grounds this season wouldn't be bad..i'd give it a go anyway

Another big improvment would be the music which is crap. Why we come out to roking all over the world i'll never know...we should come out to some opera thing to get the crowd motivated. The pre match and half time music is even worse, usualy some r&b crap which no-on listerns to. They should put football tunes on like vindaloo/3 lions/oasis stuff/simply the best

Couldn't agree with you more jonny, on all the points you raised. It is very rare I buy anything at City, mainly because I would need to be very hungry to eat what is on offer, and that is all that is on offer, and the queue for drinks puts me off.

don't particular mind the dancing girls, but I had similar thoughts to jonny about the age of them.

I want to know what happened to the Hammonds Brass Band??which I much prefer, although all the men on this site would probably disagree with me; as they no doubt will enjoy the dancing girls;)

I need 2 pints at half time, just to get through the 2nd half.

Ah, but at half-time I'm just topping up the 2 gallons I've recently taken to consuming pre-match :)
