Rick asked me if I'd help by posting this weeks games and questions and we agreed to start Saturday but what the heck heres Tuesdays game.

I have not posted the tables for this month as I never thought to check who got relegated and promoted but will later this week. Also the running points total was flawed ( read c*ck up by me:)) Loyal still winning but totals not correct. I will back track when I have time and post them.

Tuesday, 06 December 2005
Barnsley v Tranmere
Blackpool v Bournemouth
Brentford v Yeovil
Bristol City v Bradford
Gillingham v Doncaster
Hartlepool v Colchester
Milton Keynes Dons v Huddersfield
Nottm Forest v Port Vale
Oldham v Walsall
Southend v Chesterfield
Swansea v Scunthorpe

Extra questions
1 Highest scoring game at full time.
2. How many 0-0's at half time.
3. Highest away score.
4. Will Deano score a goal on Tuesday.

If this is too late for any players we will scrub and start Saturday. If any one fails to post we could take that as this is to late. That fair for all?

Yo wykie mate, you've missed out Rotherham v Swindon in the fixtures.

wykie
12-05-2005, 08:43 PM
Sorry mate I copied from the BBC site, just checked with the FL site then got my todays Daily Express ( well some one has to buy them) and no such game as Rotherham v Swindon this week so I am puzzled but might still be wrong as neither Rotherham or Swindon seem to have a game tomorrow. Where did you see that game mentioned?

Looks like Saturday is the new start date:)

With posts being lost due to technical errors beyond Ed's control I don't think it is possible to run tonights games for the prediction league.

Posts made over the last 30 min have all disappeared and by the looks of it this could be a recuring issue in the short term.

Pity this site was down most of today. Just caught sight of this by chance. Better zap it in quick as I forgot last time.

There's the ever optimistic verdict from the Belgian jury.

Edit: So my efforts were for nought then. Never mind eh?

Like I said this probably still applies dependant on how stable the site is and taking into account that since this thread was posted there has actually only been a 5 hour active window to post results due to site problems.

I take it the predictions for tonights game are void? I hadn't seen this thread.

sorry did try and log on yesterday, but unable to do so. Therefore didn't post any predications. Think we might as well start Saturday.

There was plenty of warning and notice that the fixtures were up before the site went down. Yesterdays technical errors should not be allowed as a conveinient excuse. Those who got their predictions in for last night should have the scores added to their totals. That's the fair and decent thing to do and I will accept nothing otherwise.

well sorry about this chucks, but some of have to work when we are there, so cannot keep trying to log in I have things to do other than come on this site during working hours. If it is not there when I am available then tough. Further more there was not enough notice given, which I understand was due to issues on this site that Ed is trying to sort out.

doesn't bother me whether I lose points I will catch up in any event:D)

but I will leave it to Thorney to make a decision on this.

Seeing as this was on the original post:

"If this is too late for any players we will scrub and start Saturday. If any one fails to post we could take that as this is to late. That fair for all?"

Then I expect that the points for those games will be scrapped. You offered no objection to this originally Chucks.

It's a foregone conclusion isn't it? Although if everone's willing to take my word for it that I would have scored 9 and adds it to the scores by all means let them count. :D

With regards to the message which was originally posted, the site going down and posts disapearing I'm left with no choice but to declare that the

FIXTURES ARE VOID

I'll leave it to Wykie to post the fixtures for Saturday.

BTW - Don't look at me with regards to this, I told Wykie to post Saturdays fixtures and to ignore the midweek ones  Getting 17 people to post their fixtures in less than 2 days was remote, but doing it when the board was down for the majority of 1 of those days made it near impossible.

Rick asked me if I'd help by posting this weeks games and questions and we agreed to start Saturday but what the heck heres Tuesdays game.

If this is too late for any players we will scrub and start Saturday. If any one fails to post we could take that as this is to late. That fair for all?

So thanks Wykie for that, no doubt all the abuse will fly my way  but I'll let you off because it'll be no more that I get anyway ;)
