The Football Association have dropped their investigation into alleged biting allegations involving Bradford City striker Dean Windass.

The 36-year-old was accused of biting both Southend United goalkeeper Darryl Flahavan and Bournemouth midfielder Marcus Browning in two separate incidents back in August.

Both Windass and The Bantams refuted the allegations and after looking into the two matters, The FA have now confirmed that the veteran goalscorer has no case to answer.

The news will be a boost to Valley Parade boss Colin Todd, with Windass having scored nine goals in 16 appearances for the West Yorkshire outfit this term

Good news that hes been cleared, but a boost? Hes only scored 1 in the last 9 games, He scored more when MBW was sorting the midfield out!
