The Highlighted team are the eight I feel should carry a seeding into the world cup, Spain and the Czech Rep even though very good teams should be omitted from the seeding as they didn't gain automatic qualification.

The groups will probably be drawn up with 2 european sides then 2 other continents so the best England could hope for would be,

Slovakia
Saudi Arabia
Bahrain

The worst would be,

England
Czech Rep
Mexico
Japan

That best of scenario won't happen Thorndyke.

There will be four pots to draw from with a top seed, a second seed a third seed and a bunch of nuggets pot.The Pots will have teams from more than one continent in them meaning that for example Slovakia and Bahrain would prob come out of the same pot so will be allocated seperate groups.

Your Eight Seeds will all be allocated a group without being drawn out. Then they will take one from the second pot, one from the third pot and one from the nugget pot to make every group similarly spread ability wise.

They will make allowances to have a continent spread, through the groups, though there'll probably be one group which won't be as spread out in terms of Geography and you'll always get a group where all four will stand a good chance of going through, the so called group of death (England had that last time with Argentina, Sweden and Nigeria)

Anyone know the date of the World Cup draw, I know it's in December this year but thats all.

There's a few wildcard african team's in there anren't they:
Togo
Angola
Ivory Coast

Fair play to all 3 of them for making it though ahead of Nigeria, Cameroon, etc
