Unless there's a huge marked improvement on the last 4 games we'll be coming back on the plane usually reserved for the Scotland team.....

Maybe it was Sven's ploy to play shit - to take some pressure and expectation off the team - its certainly worked for me.....:eek:

England got to the Semis in 1990 without looking any good. In fact the only game in which they did perform to a level of the standard of World Cup semi finalists was the Semi itself,in which we outplayed the Germans in an enthralling game and lost (though not in open play)
