Rooney once again last night proved he was and will be a massive fookin liability at WC2006...
The guys an idiot... Before people start coming out with "its his age" etc etc etc.. Hes been playing football since he could walk... Same as all pro footballers... He knows the rules and regs, yet chooses to abuse em..
Owen was just as young, fowler, milner etc etc etc...
Difference being he now believes his own hype... If Prem refs had acting like the ref last Rooney red card list would be massive..
If he doesnt sort it then i fear for us at the WC.... Everyone in football will now target this guy...

rowdy rooney was played out of position, but is a class act and will score bags- owenwas probably a bit better, but different styles, owen will get better or at least should do playing week in week out at newcastle getting lessons from shearer, fowler is useless now, scored loads with mcmanaman and somehow bags a goal every few months, but owen and shearer should partner very well, with milner and possibly sven
rowdy rooney learnt from gazza, what does that say?
there i replied to you td for a change, how do you feel?

Every game he does that...Everyone.. He only gets away with so much in the Prem because hes our "great hope"...
Shearer also got away with loads of stuff at his prime... Mostly backing in and elbowing people... But as soon as he retired ... Bang red cards and bookings came his way..
This talented prick needs to square himself away before he turns into another Gazza...

in the paper today robbo is reprimanding rooney, with a scowl
at least he smiled at bradford, despite the money setbacks

Oh come off it.
Was Rooney a massive liability in Euro 2004?
No, infact he was the sole reason we got as far as we did. WC will be the same.

Yep, but now hes a known quantity... Not scoring many in the Prem or Internationally now is he...
So Euro is a poor argument really in my eyes mate...
Hes been found out... Thing now is can he change and adapt like a true world class player...
My guess is no...Hes an accident not waiting to, but actually happening...

It's a pity Rooney can't take a leaf out of Young Taylors book (our left back)
similar age, however Taylor is a model professoinal that will go deservedly to the top of his profession.
