Blackpool away end falls through (http://www.lutontoday.co.uk/ViewArticle2.aspx?SectionID=541&ArticleID=847656)

Part of the stand gave way with 800 fans in, imagine what could of happened when the stand was over sold like on Monday.

The stand that the City fans were in is a temporary stand that was built after the old away end fell through, so the fans weren't in any danger from that.

No it is the same stand, the stand I and many other city fans were sitting in on Monday was the same one that fell through at the luton game. The old away end was behind the goal.

Good find Thorney,i was thinking that when i took my seat.thinking this won't be too safe if we score.does anyone remember the old away stand at maine rd,right at the back it was wooden flooring with a massive drop down.remember city fans jumping up and down to make more noise,i was off sharpish back down to the front where it was safer.i think it was the game Hendrie got sent off near the end of our nearly season.
