I think it would take a substantial offer for Julian Rhodes to accept any bid for Windass. Rhodes knows the game and is a fan of the club, he knows how much is at stake and that if we sold Windass our promotion hopes would probably go down the pan.

Windass is probably the most consistent scorer outside the Premiership and replacing him would be an extremely hard if not impossible task. He IS our best hope of getting out of this division.

IF this rumour is true then i would be dissapointed if we let him go for anything less than 500k. I'm not saying at 36 he is worth 500k or anybody would pay that much for him, but that is how valuable he is to this club at the moment and to take a risk in letting him go for anything less than half a million would be criminal.

I'd also hope that Todd to be allowed to use half of the money received to buy a replacement. Either way im pretty sure Jewell wouldnt sell us short and would offer a good amount for him...because i think it would take a bleeding big sum for Rhodes to even consider selling.

I just hope this rumour is bull crap.
