37 goals in 63 league starts for Bolton then only scored one for boro as he was either injured or coming back from injury in the 2003/4 season...

Went to Leeds and has now got his shot....If he stays hungry hes one of the best in that league.

Before you go on about poor goal scoring records read this... Digest it and then you will maybe see that strikers do have the odd poor season...

Deano only scored 19 during the same period ie from 2000 to Ricketts 30+.. Only 12 in 3 seasons of football
Only one in whole of 2001/2 season..In fact last season was the first time since his days at Oxford that he had scored over 10...
