Thorne Clarke Daley and the Super Mclaren were just a class above in the first half.
Milton Turner was great!
No one else really stood out, but the class of them 4 players did, Thornes general play, Clarkes Commanding presence, Daley's unbeatable pace and Mclarens sensible creative play!
Mclaren score a 25 yard top corner scorcher too, was REALLY impressed with him.
Thorne was his old self, always there in the box.
Daley played like a proper winger, tracked back, and got to the byline before crossing alot, set up a chance.
And Clarke..Well it's him and Lee next season i'll tell you that, class player!

Keeper was the guy we got from Harrogate, Mclaughlin. You're right, he looked good.
MClaren looked very good, great goal, foot in, and I liked Milton Turner too. Looking good.

Has Milton T signed on a deal yet?
Was Colgan rested for the tour and signing of a contract?
Was Willy Topp in the crowd with Bazza?
Pre season eh - okay for a few beers but that's about all.

Willy and Bazza were sat about 5 rows down from me.
He did an awful lot of waving !
Sat there huddled together with conlon, both wearing wooly hats.

Seemed okay actually. Not ready for a run in the 1st team quite yet, but looks to have potential.
Very lucky for the goal- Bounced off the back of the keeper's head from the post and into the net.
I would sign up the young lad milton turner up on a minimum of a one year deal, he seems very composed and althouh we have only played local non league teams he looks the part.
The young lad who scored for us (dean?) he did nothing wrong and ran all game and put himself about and deserved something out of the game and although lucky it was a goal to his credit.
McLaren really does look the part, topped off by a great goal today, He will be a massive player for us this season, Though not sure about Korey Nix he is nothing special (only in my opinion) he did not really contribute anything to the game and he must show a little more guile and actually look interested in the game to be considered for any future with bradford city

From what I can gather Korey Nix has been at university so this would be his first pro club (correct me if I am wrong). I'd imagine this would give him the benefit of the doubt and Stu will give him a month to month contract to see if he can make a step up.

Milton Turner looks a decent footballer and even over-lapped Omar a few times and showed how to put a decent cross In tup:
I'd like to see him against better opposition but will be very surprised If Stu doesn't offer him a contract.
From what little I've seen he looks about as good if not better than Arnison.

Can't judge him being better than Arnison after 1 game though.
I thought Milton Turner was great and could be one of those signings from non League that really make the step up, him and Omar worked really well and he had power and a little pace, 1 year contract maybe, lets hope he impresses in Scotland, can't be on much.

Number 11 - Louis Horne. According to two friends, the sons of both have been at City, he only got taken on because of his dad. And it's nothing to do with sour grapes because both kids were in different teams to Louis, and one is now at a Premier League academy.

Still sounds like sour grapes to me - pushy parents, back stabbing, gossip - I'm sure he would not be anywhere near the 1st team if he was that poor.
Being at a Premier League Academy gives you no more credibility in reality - more chance of being turfed out as a reject that's all.

He didn't look ready for 1st team football but was no worse than any of the other youngsters who've played in the last 2 friendlies.

If Louis Horne is only at City because of his dad, why was he being called into England youth representative sides last season? Or does his dad run those as well?
