Expecting official site to post "Just kidding, City are 5-0 up" shortly.
It's one of the following from city:
1) Nick Colgan is Crap.
2) City's defense is Crap.
3) City cannot be arsed.
4) All the above.
7 of that 11 are first teamers.
Fucking daley playing like a lazy twat ;) :D

Need time to gel
pre-season doesn't mean anything
just a training run
don't want to peak too early
lulling opposition into false sense of security
Farsley are brilliant
Am I worried? Well, erm....

erm, so farsley was the usual pre-season experience albeit with an extremely fit barmaid to lessen the blow, so to speak. well, thank god for the stunners that i'm sure are employed at dundee and motherwell. i'm sure the trips won't be in vain after all

Topp played upfront with Thorne.

Indeed.
Its hard to assess pre-season games, players at different levels of fitness and not willing to put their foot in against fired up opponents.
Only plus points from tonight were the performances of Jakes and Wethers! :wet:

All fair comments, very rusty performance against fired up opponents

1-0 O'Brien failed to clear and striker poked past keeper :(
2-0 Was buying a drink and looking for barmaids cleavage....didn't see either!
3-0 Missed again, can't remember what I was doing????
3-1 Conlon penalty....just buying a round, heard a cheer, then another as Baz slotted away the pen, but saw neither incident or pen!
Hope that clears up things??? :)

was it right that i heard the feklin physio came on as well to play some of the game?
As someone else said - pre season friendlies are a waste of cash when you get trialists mixed in and players swapped around - Colgan played nearly a full game - enough to get a decision from McCall.
841 there to see the game (if you can call it that) - maybe 500 City then?

Dutch, its time to admit that OB is actually very poor. And slower than Heckingbottam, which is saying something!!!
As for missing the important stuff Parrot my son. Why was her clevage not on show, did anyone raise the question? And just how fit actually is this barmaid??

I wouldn't say OBs worse than Hecky, just both aren't all that :( ....In fact Jakes showed both what full back play and good use of the ball is all about in his cameo appearance tup:
In fact if i was Stu i'd seriously consider getting Jakes to come out of retirement, im not joking either!

Lol, she's not fit as such just got an amazingly perfect cleavage, sadly even that was under wraps tonight!

But what's it all about?? This was a friendly away from home in front of mainly home fans. Why feel the need to bring on the physio, assistant manager and coach? Are things really that desperate that we need to make up the numbers with retired players? I'd hazard a guesss that out of all the friendly games that are played in the next coming weeks across all the leagues, not many teams would play their coaching staff. Imagine Brian McClair or Micky Phelan coming on for Man Utd in the second half?
Its embarrassing.

Not to impressed with Colgan, he doesn't command his area and looked a bit nervous.
Korey Nix is a clone of his brother playing wise.
Milton Turner looked pretty steady in the 2nd half

Players missing last night due to slight knocks
Graeme Lee, Hecky, JoCo, Brandon, Taylforth, Osbourne & Michael Boulding
Thats why Jakes & Wethers got the old boots on!!

We were never going to risk anyone against Farsley - they were up for the game and got the win AGAIN! - I'm glad we're away on holiday for the majority of these games - roll on August and the real thing - that's what the aim will be.
