Sounds like anyone who turned up with boots got a game ffs. Are we not taking pre season seriously? Why is the assistant manager, coach and physio pulling on a kit in a supposedly important, team building and match practice friendly? None of them have a chance of playing for the 1st team this season. I'd rather we played a youth who has half a chance of making it than name 2 retired players on the bench. It wasn't a testimonial tonight....it was our first game of the season. It was a waste of a shirt or 3 in my opinion. Ridiculous and amateurish are 2 words that spring to mind.

Rory looked lightweight but was full of running as was Kory.

Not sure If either would be anywhere near the 1st team though!

Milton looked a more accomplished pro and maybe worth taking to Jockland to have a better look at IMO.

Says Turner is from Garforth in the paper. he looked pretty steady on the right and well worth another look.

Rory Boulding looks to have a bit of skill but is very young and a bit lightweight.

In the second half, the one that impressed me most was Luke Sharry in the midfield, watch out for this kid. He's powerful, not scared of getting stuck in, having a shot at goal. Maybe could do with being an inch or two taller but definitely one to look out for.
Also, Adie Bellamy played CH in the first half and although he looked a bit nervous at times and got caught out for one of the goals he was steady considering he's stepping up from youth football.
Biggest worry is at LB. If Hecky is unfit , i 'm not sure Luke O'B is the answer. Maybe he had a bad night but he was awful all game

Every time i have ever seen him play (even in the ressies) he has looked very poor. I can't believe how slow he is considering he's still young. Still Stu must have seen something in him or why give him another year?

O'B looks the least convincing of the youngsters I've seen tried at City in quite a few years (sorry Dutch). I like Hecks, but feel that he's just a bit too slow these days.
