Woking I know you are of tender years but- there is life after 30 mate lol - even a glimmer after 40 - I'd rather us sign him as No1 than have a Loan keeper for the season who could be recalled at any time.

I'm nearly 34, plagued by injuries, drink like a fish, smoke like a chimney and eat nothing but pizza, chips and burgers and I'm playing the best cricket of my life and bowling and running quicker than when I was in my early 20's.

There's plenty of life after 30. Especially for a keeper.

PS~ But is this keeper any good? He hasn't played that many league games for a 34 year old has he?

You also look a lot nearer being match fit than Rooney did at the weekend!!!jump:jump:jump:

To be fair if he looks like him he must easily be as good as him.

They say that the longest ten years in anyone's life are between 29 and 30 !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd better keep out of this argument. At the gym yesterday I made 9 from 10 attempts from the free throw line, with a basketball. That's better than many pros can achieve, and I won't see 50 again, eh Wisey? (or 60, or 70 !) Cheers.

Indeed youngbill - you are only as old as you feel - today i felt 27 but looked 39!

Dutch - Colgan has made around 250 appearances overall (good spells up North with some scottish club ermm can't think who now and also at Barnsley - play off final winner in League 1) - not that bad - remember Gary Walsh - he had to sit on the bench for years but is up there with the top City keepers for me - I hope we can sign this fella on as it's the No.1 keeper sorted then and another one with solid experience from League 1 and above.

Aye but cricket's for old, fat men who can't run around a football pitch anymore! ;)

Not news, I know but a name at the bottom of the article raises my eyebrows for the wrong reasons.

Hi all :)

I seem to remember Facey being pretty poor when he was on loan with us a few seasons ago... always bricked it when he had a clear oppurtunity.
