It's been removed now mate. On Wiki, anyone can change an article so you should never trust what you read on there. It said Boulding had signed a 2 year deal with us today as well.
Boulding is taking far too long to make a decision, surely he wont be taht commited if he finally decided to join us?

The player is in demand... he doesn't have any loyalty to anyone until he's signed up.. no one can blame him for looking for the best option...
Commitment?... who can say?

I know what you're saying, a job is a job after all and you can't blame him for waiting for something better to come along. I just prefer it when a player signs and says "I really liked the manager and club set-up and that was a big selling point for me" like McLaren and Lee have done. IF Boulding signs for us it will be because nothing better has come along, of course none of that will matter if he becomes our leading goalscorer this season! ;)
I just want it to get sorted. Training has already started, we'll play our first pre-season game soon, and it'd be good to have the key players in the squad sorted (including a keeper and striker) asap. I'm just worried we're putting our eggs in one (well two) baskets and that if both Boulding and Beckett turn us down we'll be in trouble.

But his career doesn't look that great to be honest, up to last season when he was 31/32.
Up to now, according the factual bits of Wiki, he's been a tennis player, a winger, released, blasted, retired and didn't seem to become a goal scorer till he moved into his 4th decade.

Very true, up until last season Boulding was a pretty average striker. The season before last he got only 5 goals in 39 appearences.
Compare his goals/game ratio to Beckett (Boulding - 0.28, Beckett 0.41) and I know who I'd rather have in the team!

Seconded. I'd have signed Beckett as soon as he had talks. Although I don't know much about this supposed knee injury.
