Yes, nice gesture.
Its interesting that Barca turned down an offer from a gambling firm and Villa have switched from another gambling firm. Perhaps Mr Lerner doesn't like gambling, especially as internet gambling is illegal in the US. He's a top bloke though IMO, £5 million to the national gallery is damn site more than Abramovich and the Glazers have contributed to culture in this country.

I do not get your point here??? They are football chairmen not Charity donators... BTW how do you know they haven't or do not give to charities???
Or is this from the same source who knows for a fact Redknapp is guilty even though still nothing on that front.....
Simple question for you Euro...
Why should either of the two blokes you mentioned give anything to Charity in this country????

Actually, Abramovich gave over £50k to both Rovrum & Wrexham when they had money troubles a couple of years back. Didn't have to!!!

Tony didn't say that the Glazers had not contributed to charities in this country, actually said that the £5m gift to the national gallery was more than "Abramovich and the Glazers have contributed to culture in this country." stand by that. Chelsea and ManU both support charities but not to the value of their shirt sponsorship deals.

Once again mate... How do you know who or how much Abramovich or the Glazers give to charities here or abroard???
Im guessing you have no idea but are making out the gesture by the villa guy is something unique..
Not everyone goes public on what they donate.. Look at Beadle a one man charity cash raising genius.. Didnt get credit for it till he was dead..
