I'm hoping to set up a west yorkshire appreciation society to show the world just how much this guy is rated.
I welcome any enquiries from within this forum - please PM me for further details.

New World in the Morning is a personal favourite of mine, he also does a tear jerking version of Danny Boy - think it's on youtube...............
Heard the wife listening to one of his efforts the other week....personally I think it's decent grounds for divorce, especially given she has a Leo Sayer vinyl to cap it all.

Leo fucking Sayer...what happened to him.
I'll never forget at the age of 12 or so watching his video where he's dressed as a clown...had a profound effect on me and shaped my life pretty much since.:)

Ah classic
I've got to leave old Durham town,
I've got to leave old Durham town.
I've got to leave old Durham town,
And the leaving's gonna get me down.
When I was a boy, I spent my time,
Sitting on the banks of the river Tyne.
Watching all the ships going down the line, they were leaving,
Leaving, leaving, leaving, leaving me.
I've got to leave old Durham town,
I've got to leave old Durham town.
I've got to leave old Durham town,
And the leaving's gonna get me down.
He must have been down a few lines himself if he thought he'd seen ships on the River Tyne in Durham.
Maybe King Billy will join the appreciation society?
