My brother-in-law told me about 6 weeks ago that Garreth Barry was gonna sign for Liverpool after Steven Gerrard had said to Benitez that he was his ideal partner in midfield. I laughed!!
They have tabled a £10m bid for him!!jawdrop:

Barry would be cheap at 10 million..
Carson, Riise and Crouch would be a fair swap for someone of Barrys ability...
With a couple of million going back the other way..
Crouch 7 million, Carson 6 million and Riise 3 million tops...
On his own in the current market Barry should be worth close to 12-15 million as daft as that sounds...:rolleyes:
If O'Neil got those three i would suggest with his current crop he would be defo in the top 5 next season... Depends who Melbergs replacement would be...

TBH Tony i thought Barry would be better at a club who are going to challenge for Trophies :chatter::chatter::chatter::chatter:
