Did anyone else watch the 'Hughie Green, Most Sincerely' biopic last night on Beeb 4?
I have always thought of Eve as one dimensional... Shoestring in everyrole he played with the same hangdog expressions.
His performance last night changed my mind... he was exceptional.. as was the writing and production. BAFTA award class IMO.jump:
.......
Hughie Green a serial shagger... who'd have thought it!

You've never watched Waking the Dead then?
Sae the Steptoe one the other week with Jason Issacs and Phil Davis and it was one of the best dramas I've seen in years.

Yeah i saw the steptoe one... very good.
The Hancock one was OK'ish but I knew the story anyhow.
Last night was brilliant and I'm looking forward to the Frankie Howard edition next week.
Showing my age I guess.:)

Anyone recall that production about Kenneth Williams life a while back ? ( no not that Kenneth Chuck lol_
Uncanny performance by the actor involved - can't recall his name - sad stuff really.
The Steptoe and Son production a few weeks back was classic TV - one of the best I've seen for yonks.
