A true gem of a comedy on right now on Film 4..

One of the best films the late great John Candy ever did and one which also showcase Steve Martin at a time when his films were still actually funny..

Anyone else watching it..

I can't remember which channel its on, but one of my faves is on tonight. It starts at 1.40 so its one to record.

David Lynchs Wild At Heart. An absolute cracker. Nicholas Cages best movie IMO. Well worth watching. A road movie, with a bit of violence and more than a bit of The Wizard of Oz thrown in. Can't stand Elvis - but Cage can do a good cover.

The car sandwich bit when he's going the "wrong way" happened to me and a few mates coming back from Scarborough in the early 90s (?) when we'd just lost 3-0 in the league cup! :(

I thought the dual carriage way was a one way road just outside Scarborough and ended up in between two cars going opposite ways at high speed! :eek:

One of my favourites too, along with Planes Trains and Automobiles. Real stupid laugh out loud moments :)
