Well, if that doesn't sort the men from the boys then nothing will. I wouldn't have expected any less from Stu tbh... It doesn't sound like many, if any, have been knocking on his door as of late...
Like he said, the ball is in their court to show him they want to stay..

We know Hecky and Omar & Topp will be here so who else?
I'd keep:
Williams
Bower
Bullock
Colbeck
Nix
Thorne
Medley
plus if we could get Moncur & Loach on season long loans.
Major surgery needed to challenge next year.

Get rid of them all. To be honest, are any of them any good? Those that are established in the team were in the team that got relegated last season. Those that are new to the team are part of a team that is mid table in the lowest league. Its not even as if any of them are exciting or look to have potential to improve. Hecks can't hack it, Willy looks like he's a lemon with his dodgy calf muscle, and the rest are on or approaching the wrong side of thirty. Time for Stu to start with a clean sheet.
Drastic comments I know, but desperate times and all that....

Nobody is worth keeping. Bottom half of Division 4 isn't suitable. If it's back to the shitpool again for Stu this summer, it's not going to get any better next season either.

Not going to happen though is it. They might be 'shitpool' and it might not be suitable but certain players will stay and certain ones will go. Its up to McCall to try and make a team out of what he's got available, he'll have more options this summer than last, knows the division. I believe in him but he's got to show progress next season.
Other managers can produce teams with less resources than Macca will have so its a big season next year.

This argument raises it's head every season. I honestly don't think there is any manager in any of the four divisions and a good deal of the conference that has less reseources than whoever is in the hot seat and taking the rap for failure at Valley Parade at any given time. And that like his predessesor and eventual successor is not Stu's fault.

That must be bollocks Chuck - no doubt impossible to prove either way - but the financial income and expenditures i have seen across the leagues indicate you are some way off.
