Strange how some say that City cannot do good marketing!

Strange how some say that City cannot do good marketing!

It won the award not necessarily for the marketing but for the success of the scheme. As Chucks would say it's not rocket science, offer tickets at a few bob a game and you'll have your hand ripped off! Not knocking the award like, but I doubt it is reflective of the actual marketing more the fact that the scheme achieved and went above its target, which I would think would have more to do with the price than the constant double page spreads we (didn't) see in the local rag and the billboard posters we put up like our neighbours at Horsfall!

Soz, I'm still a cynical old get!

They did a good enough marketing job --
Without spending lots of money that we didnt have

Now they have 13,000 words of mouth -- no need to spend again -- good work if you ask me

What a pleasant surprise. I thought someone had given an award for numbest fuckwits in the boardroom. But it's recognition for spotting that if somethings cheap, people will snap it up, however shit it is.

Congratulations!!!!

What Chucks still thinks he got one over JR :) KERRRRRRRRRRRRCHINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG THANKS FOR THE £138 WE THOUGHT WE WOULDN'T SEE :)

See Chucks JR does not give a toss what you do after you purchased your ticket because YOUR money helped to fund his trip to the alps :)

You stick to your guns chucks ;)

But it's recognition for JR spotting that if somethings cheap enough, peoples morals go out of the window and they come back into the fold, however much they gobbed off before or slated the board...

Changed that for you Dave mate...Some Joker had messed with your original but i asked Baldy to make sure this one was locked so no one could do it to your proper quote..

He knows not to mess with me as you and the rest know eh!!!

That's not a dig at him, I'm only having a laugh and going with a Willy Wonka theme, if he looked like Brad Pitt I might have edited the picture like Oceans 13, but unfortunately he doesn't..... he looks like an Oompa Loompa.
