I'll be a reet doom-MONGER, then, how will we generate cashflow if this scheme goes ahead? There will hardly be any pay-on-the-dayers, and by the Tall City Gent chap's reckoning we will have a war-chest of just over £1m to pay wages, transfers and God knows what else. Rhodes is quoted as saying we have £1.2m worth of costs to account for before we even start with players' wages etc. Is it just my rusty maths or does it suggest that we must be getting a whacking great level of income from somewhere else, otherwise there is no way we are making a profit?

The Business Centre
Money from the catering company (it wasn't all paid up front, it's in installments).
Probably the same for Surridge...

Does that equate to £1m+? Not mentioned rent yet!

it should be noted that when the catering/shop deals etc were made they were negotiated on the crowds at the time which was what 7-8k.... as a margin is handed over for beating certainn targets i am sure that we actually are doing very well from those deals now we have alot more through the turnstiles...
Me thinks they are about to put the season tickets pricings up now ....cynical ??? maybe :D

When it was mooted it was meant to bring in £1.5 million per year when totally sold out of office space, So i'd assume that cover's Mr Gbb's money.

I reckon next season the income will be about £2.5m overall, maybe £2m this - add on sponsors and advertisers, emc payments, surrdige payments and so on - nit just about ticket sales.

So we assume they filled the empty corporate sponsorship packages that we read about not long ago?
Me playing a bit of devil's advocate (AGAIN!) but at least debating it means we don't get any surprises hopefully!

JR reckoned that every single bit of space in the 'Business Area' was now taken and earning the club money. They are even opening areas in the stand for office space to businesses

Whatever the figures are, and I dont for one minute think we will get to know, things are at last looking much brighter... does anyone know if JR has commented in the T & A on a similar line?? I couldnt find it when I looked..

I doubt Simon asks Julian about the finances, it wouldn't be proper, my dear! Whereas the YEP seem to be quite keen to know especially with the current threat to Rotherham's finances and the like.

Next season there will be a corporate business lounge with private bar in the Main stand. Available at £1k per member. Added to this there will be food and drink revenue.
Also, they are providing a business group forum for members (paid entry) - which will result in spin offs.
Revenues will increase from match day non ticket sales - food, drink programs. Increased fan numbers will result in higher sponsorship takings and the ability to sell additional sponsorship and match day packages.
Much of the credit for this goes to Dave Baldwin, who in my book is doing a fantastic job.
