Just watching re run of Jools Holland show and caught for the first time the woman who is apparently no1 in the charts.....

Very 60's but proper good voice and a decent tune..

I'd agree with that. She's an album coming out next month I think so that'll be on my to buy list.

She is very 60's blues/soul, the sort of stuff that heads my collection... proper R&B, not this stuff that masquerades as R&B today... Although I'm sick of hearing Mercy now.
